Residential Plumbing Systems
In most homes, a single Aqua-Rex® WK1
installed on the cold water main will provide adequate scale protection.
Location
The best place to fit an Aqua-Rex® unit is near the water heater.
Install it as close as you can to the water heater and place on the
cold water supply pipe.
The signal generated by Aqua-Rex® treats the water irrespective of whether the water is flowing or static. It travels both upstream and downstream through
the water and pipes, which means water does not have to flow through the Aqua-Rex® unit for it to be treated.
Central Heating Systems
The central heating system operates
on a closed circuit and should not normally suffer from scaling.
It does not need a separate unit but will benefit from signal
transfer at the heat exchanger.
Very Easy to Install
Installation simply requires a power source near the spot where the unit will be located. Simply wrap the entennas around the supply line as indicated in the installation instructions included. Plug in the unit, and thats it. An extension cord may be used if necessary.
Maintanance
The Aqua-Rex® unit needs no maintenance or servicing. Occasionally inspect to insure the lights are flashing. If the Aqua-Rex® stops working, first check the power source. If the transformer is cold, that means it has failed.
